No water in Srinagar for two days
Srinagar, Apr 17 (UNI) The water supply in most areas in the summer capital will remain affected for two days from April 21 while power unit getting supply from Grid Station Cheshmashahi will remain off on April 19.
An official spokesman said due to the repairing of Sindh Power Canal, the water supply fed from Alasteing and Rangil Water Treatment Plants would remain off on April 21 and 22, 2008.
He said consumers receiving water from these plants had been asked to store ample water for their use during these days.
Se said, however, water tankers would be pressed into service for the affected areas.
He said the power supply from 132/33 KV Grid Station Cheshmashahi would remain off on April 19 because of some repair work.
