TN: Newly born baby girl found abandoned

Kancheepuram (Tamil Nadu), Apr 17: A newly born baby girl was found abandoned in a bush near the Nathapettai railway gate in this district, today.

Police sources said a passerby, Rajathi, heard the cries of the one-day-old baby in the bush and saw the infant. She immediately informed the Kancheepuram police station.

Police rushed to the spot and rescued the baby. Investigations were on to find out the parents of the baby.
