NCP accepts Girish Gandhi's resignation
Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) Maharashtra NCP unit general secretary Gurunath Kulkarni today announced that he has accepted the resignation of Girish Gandhi, president of the Nagpur city unit of the party.
Mr Gandhi had sent his resignation to state party chief Arun Gujarathi, two days back.
Mr Kulkarni, in a release, also announced dissolution of Nagpur city NCP executive committee and said the new executive will be announced soon.
He said that Nagpur district NCP chief Sadanand Nimkar will be the interim president of Nagpur city till further appointments are made.
