Madurai Kamaraj University gets new VC

Chennai, Apr 17 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor and Chancellor of Madurai Kamaraj University, S S Barnala, has appointed Dr R Karpaga Kumaravel as the new Vice-Chancellor of the varsity.

He would hold the post for a period of three years from the date of his assuming the office, a Raj Bhavan release here said today.

Dr Kumaravel is the Prof and Head, Department of Educational Technology, Bharatidasan University, Tiruchirapalli.
