IMI conducts three anti-piracy raids in Punjab
Chandigarh, Apr 17 (UNI) Acting on a tip-off from the Indian Music Industry, India's largest enforcement agency, the Punjab Police conducted three consecutive raids in two major districts of the state seizing a total of 1867 pirated CDs including 474 films and music VCD's, 668 film DVD's and 725 MP3's.
The IMI investigators, after confirming the manufacturing and sales of pirated CDs, filed a complaint with the police.
The police raided the venues yesterday in Faridkot City, Garhshankar City and Hoshiarpur district and seized a massive number of pirated DVDs, MP3s and CDs, a release said here.
