Gulbarga records highest temperature of 40 deg. Celsius

Bangalore, Apr 17 (UNI) Following is a summary observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.

Jayapura reorded 1 cm rain. Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and remained normal over interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over the state.

Farmers weather bulletin: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Maximum temperature likely to be around 35 degree celsius.
