Eicher Motors merges US subsidiaries

New Delhi, Apr 17: Eicher Motors Ltd today said two of its wholly-owned subsidiaries in US, Design Intent Engineering Inc (DIE) and Hoff&Associates Inc (HOFF), have been merged to consolidate the investment of the company in a single entity.

HOFF has been merged with DIE and the name of the merged entity has been changed to Eicher Engineering Solutions Inc, so that the company is recognised as part of Eicher Group of Companies. The Eicher Group is a significant player in the country's automobile industry with a gross sales turnover of over 424 million dollars in FY06. The Eicher Group has diversified business interests in design and development, manufacturing and local/international marketing of trucks and buses, motorcycles, automotive gears and components.
