Manipur: Central team inspects RIMS

Imphal, April 17: A ten-member team of specialists from New Delhi today completed inspection of the departments of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal.

Official sources said the inspection was a part of the field assessment for opening the super speciality departments in the RIMS.

The team, led by Prof N K Mohanty, Additional Director General and Head of Department of Urology of the Safdarjang Hospital, had Dr Harsh Vardhan, Head of Department, Cardiology, Dr Ajwani, Senior Endocrinologist, Dr Vijay Grover, Senior CTVS Surgeon, Dr Karam Chand, Senior Neurosurgeon, Dr Radhavan, Senior Neurologist, Dr Jagdish Suri, Senior Chest Physician, Dr Shalabh Kumar, Senior Plastic Surgeon, Dr Amar Bhatnagar, Senior Cancer Surgeon, Dr Deepak Bagga, Senior Paediatric surgeon, and Prof Fimate, Director as its members.
