Cabinet allots land to set up Kendriya Vidyalaya

Hyderabad, Apr 17 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet today allotted government land to set up Kendriya Vidyalaya and a branch of Hyderabad Public School in Putlampalli village in Kadapa district.

Briefing newspersons here after a cabinet meeting, State Information and Public Relations Minister Aanam Ramanarayana Reddy said the Government had allotted 18.77 acres of land at a cost of Rs 1.50 lakh per acre to set up Kendriya Vidyalaya and 25 acres at the same cost to Hyderabad Public School in the village.

The Government had also allotted 11.68 acres of land for a cricket stadium in the same village.

The cabinet also approved the setting up of a government Polytechnic College at Kadapa, with one principal, ten lecturers and 11 administrative staff, at an yearly expenditure of Rs 62.40 lakh.
