5 minors go missing in Uttar Pradesh

Jaunpur, UP, Apr 17: Five children, residing in one of the Dalit slums, went missing under mysterious circumstances in Kerakat area here, in Uttar Pradesh police said today.

Police Superintendent Lalji Shukla said Vandana (12), Rachna (10), Azad (8), Anand (11) and Madhubala (9) had left home for their school yesterday, but did not return.

Meanwhile, police, which has launched a massive search for the missing, today recovered school bags of the children from a field.
