23 IAS officers transferred in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Apr 17 (UNI) In a major reshuffle, 23 senior Indian Administrative Service(IAS)officers have been transferred in Rajasthan resulting in change of principal secretaries and/or HoDs in about a dozen of departments.
As per the administrative orders issued last night, Principal Secretary(Finance) Rajiv Maharishi, who had played a significant role in preparing three successive state budgets, has now been transferred to Delhi as Principal Resident Commissioner(First) and Officer on Special Duty in Bhiwadi Development Authority.
Subhash Chandra Garg, who was working as Secretary Finance(Third), has been promoted as Principal Secretary Finance to succeed Mr Maharishi.
LP Kothari, who was working as Principal Secretary in Revenue, Colonisation and Waqf has now been shifted to Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development in the similar capacity and Ashok Shekhar presently Director General Jawahar Kala Kendra will succeed Mr Kothari.
