Walse-Patil maintains his reply on power scenario
Mumbai, Apr 16 (UNI) Maintaining his stand on power scenario in Maharashtra, state energy minister Dilip Walse-Patil today said with the implementation of additional private and public projects in the state, it will be self-reliant by 2012.
Replying to the discussion on power situation in the Legislative Assembly, he said various private and public projects will increase the power supply in the state, thus helping it to tide over the huge power crunch.
''We should make the state self-reliant,'' he said.
However, not satisfied with his reply, the Opposition members staged a walkout, arguing that the minister's reply was not showing any immediate measures to solve the power crunch.
