Rs 4.11 cr largesse for Magh Mela pilgrims
Lucknow, Apr 16 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Government has sanctioned Rs 4.11 crore largesse for the convenience of the pilgrims thronging the holy city Allahabad during the religious tempest Magh and Ardh Kumbh Mela.
According to the Urban Development Department, the state government had sanctioned Rs 4.11 crore for the construction of a rest house near the 'Mela' site.
A team under the leadership of 'Mela' officer, Allahabad, had been constituted to keep an eye over work efficiency.
With regard to the selection of the construction site, orders had been issued to avoid flood-hit areas.
