Prem Kumar Gera appointed Gujarat Resident Commissioner

New Delhi, Apr 16 (UNI) Mr Prem Kumar Gera, a 1985 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre, has been appointed Resident Commissioner, government of Gujarat, in Delhi.

He succeeds Dr R L Meena, who was holding the additional charge of Principal Resident Commissioner.

Earlier, Mr Gera had worked in various capacities in the Ministries of Textiles, Personnel, Agriculture and Finance at the Centre.

He also served a stint in Gujarat Government's Department of Finance and General Administration Department.
