Mother-daughter killed for practicing witchcraft
Kokrajhar, Apr 16 (UNI) A mother-daughter duo has been hacked to death by unidentified men in Assam's Kokrajhar district for allegedly practicing black magic and witchcraft.
Police sources informed that Nandeswari Brahma (80) and her daughter Hafang (50) were found murdered in their house in Khagrabari Monorgaon under Dotma police station.
The bodies bore injury marks caused by sharp weapons. An axe and spade were recovered from the site.
Investigating was on on, police added.
