Armyman killed in rail accident on way to home
Ambala, Apr 16 (UNI) An Army man, posted at DSE Corps Amritsar, was killed in a rail accident near Darajpur railway station on Ambala-Yamunanagar line last night.
The victim, identified as Raj Devinder Singh (48), was on way to his village Barara in Ambala district on a leave.
His body was found in mutilated condition between Darajpur and Mustafabad railway stations.
His shocked family members said that he had telephonic talk with them prior to leaving Amritsar last night.
However, they received information of his death from the GRP here.
According to police, Singh might have fallen when he apparently rushed to the stairs on nearing the Barara station.
The dead body was handed over to family members after postmortem.
