15 people, including two policemen, injured in Hazaribagh
Hazaribagh, Apr 16 (UNI) Altogether 15 people, including two policemen, were today injured in a lathicharge by the police force at the Sadar police station area in this district.
Police said they had to resort to lathicharge to disperse a Ramnavami procession being taken out from a restricted locality.
The people leading the procession were adamant to follow the restricted path and police resorted to lathicharge and used tear gas shells to disperse the crowd.
All the injured were admitted to Sadar hospital here where the condition of three of them was stated to be critical.
