Musharraf seeks closer ties with China

Beijing, Apr 14, 2008 : Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf said in Beijing on April 14 that he favoured closer energy ties with China and hoped bilateral talks with India would resolve the long-standing Kashmir issue. Earlier, supporting China on the Olympics issue, Musharraf condemned attempts from the West to undermine the event through a boycott.
