Two women killed, 25 injured in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 15 (UNI) Two woman were killed and 25 wounded in Kashmir road accidents overnight, official sources said today.
They said a woman Farida was critically injured when she came under a pick-up van at Muminabad Batmaloo. She was rushed to hospital where she died.
Several students also received minor injuries, they said adding the injured were given first-aid.
Another woman, Fazi was killed and 22 were wounded when a passenger bus skidded off the road and fell into nearby field at Sandipora, in the central Kashmir district of Badgam, sources added.
The injured were admitted to different hospitals, sources said.
Meanwhile, three people, including a woman, were injured in two different road accidents at Kunzar in Baramulla and Hutmarah in Anantnag. The injured were hospitalised.
