Ruling BJP responsible for inflation in Chhattisgarh: Jogi

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Apr 15 (UNI) Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi today held the ruling BJP responsible for rising inflation in Chhattisgarh.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Jogi alleged that BJP-supported traders were deliberately increasing prices to earn profit. The Raman Singh Government was playing politics over the matter and transferring the blame on the Centre.

He claimed that the government could control inflation if it strictly implemented the Essential Commodities Act. Inflation could be brought down considerably if the government acted tough against black-marketers and hoarders.
