New Delhi, Apr 15 : Post-recess Budget Session of the Parliament will begin here from today.

Issues like price rise and the OBCs (Other Backward Classes) reservation issue with creamy layer controversy are likely to be discussed during the session.

CPI-M politburo member Sitaram Yechury on Monday warned that the price rise was like a "large albatross" that could cause trouble for the UPA Government ahead of elections.

All Left MPs will march to Parliament in a procession against the price rise today. This was not the normal way for the MPs to march inside Parliament.

Besides, the Left party along with the United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA) will hold a nationwide agitation throughout the country from April 16 to 23 to put pressure on the UPA Government to bring down the prices of essential commodities.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also stepped up its attack on the government over the price rise. The Samajwadi Party (SP) also plans to bring an adjournment motion on the price rise on the first day itself.

This session will end on May 9.

The first part of Budget Session was concluded on March 20. The Railway Budget and the General Budget were presented during the session. The Economic Survey, which gives an indication on the health of the economy, was also tabled.
