WB: 5 miscreants from Siliguri under custody

Siliguri, Apr 15: Police arrested five miscreants, including two women, from different areas in Siliguri and Darjeeling during the past 24 hours in connection with the April 3 bomb blast here.

Darjeeling Superintendent of Police Rahul Srivastav said here today that raids were on to nab the other members of the gang.

At least three persons were killed and one injured in a bomb blast on April 3 in a house under Pradhannagar police station.

On April 8, about 2-3 kgs of powerful explosives, suspected to be RDX, were recovered from a house at Rajibnagar area under the same police station.
