Durham University announces fellowship award after Abhijit Mahto

Jamshedpur, Apr 15 (UNI) Durham Duke University, US, has announced fellowship award, named after Indian student Abhijit Mahto, who was killed on the University premises by armed miscreants in January this year.

This award would be given to the University toppers every year, the family sources of the slain student said, quoting the University management.

The family members, who live in Gamharia near here, expressed happiness and said it was a real tribute to the departed soul.
