Ancient structure in Shiva temple stolen in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 15 (UNI) An ancient structure was stolen by some unidentified people from Shiva temple in north Kashmir, official sources said today.

They said Conservation Assistant of archaeological survey of India, Sub Center, Pattan, lodged a written complaint in Police Station, Sheeri, that some unidentified people have stolen a piece of ancient structure from the store room of Shiva Temple at Fateh Garh.

A police spokesman confirming the theft said an FIR was registered and a massive hunt has been launched to recover the structure.
