UP: 44th bi-annual NCC commanders' conf begins

Lucknow, Apr 15: The 44th Bi-annual NCC Group Commanders' conference got off a start early this morning at the NCC Directorate in the Uttar Pradesh capital. The conference is being chaired by Brig A K Pathak, Deputy Director General (DDG) NCC.

In his address, the DDG laid stress on several issues, including making institutional training more realistic, Special National Integeration Camps to be conducted in remote and disturbed areas, generating public awareness on issues of contemporary social reverence such as HIV/AIDS etc and various other issues that are important for the functioning of the Directorate.

During the next two days, methods for achieving better standards of professional excellence and various functional and administrative issues would be discussed.
