ULFA leader nabbed, one villager shot dead

Guwahati, Apr 14 (UNI) A hardcore ULFA leader Rudra Gogoi was today captured along with three other link men, while an unidentified villager was shot dead in the crossfire between police and ULFA near Morahnat of Sivsagar district.

Police said the incident occurred at Rangali Himapara Moran village where one grenade and some rounds of ammunition were also recovered.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, one Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered at Dengaon near Howraghat of Karbi Anglong district, police added.
