Taleban kill 11 policemen in southern Afghanistan

Kabul, Apr.14 : Taleban insurgents have attacked a police post in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar, killing at least 11 policemen, an official has said.

The attack took place in the Arghandab District late on Sunday night.

The attackers, the senior police officer said, also seized police vehicles and weapons.

In a separate incident, two British members of the NATO force have been killed in an explosion in southern Afghanistan.

The blast happened on Sunday, said a spokesman from the International Security Assistance Frce (ISAF), and two other soldiers were injured.
