Seven die, 5 injured in accident
Rajkot, Apr 14 (UNI) Seven people, including four women, were killed and five others injured when a private mini-luxury bus collided head-on with a tanker near Babara in Amreli district today.
According to police, the bus was on its way to Rajkot from Bhavnagar when it collided with the speeding tanker, coming from the opposite direction.
The accident took place at around 1500 hrs.
The injured were shifted to the civil hospital here, police said.
The dead were identified as Yashpal Jadeja, Shobhanaben Kishorbhai, Mahendrabhai Mehta, Dhijiben Mahendrabhai, Aminaben Yusufbhai, Hanifaben and one Sadhu, police added.
