Procession to mark 117th birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Apr 14 (UNI) Thousands of people participated in the procession taken out in the city to mark the 117th birth anniversary of the architect of the Indian Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar here today.

The procession began after paying floral tributes to the statue of Dr Ambedkar at Bhadkal gate.

A large number of people belonging to different groups, including ''Dalits'' had also gathered at the gate of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University to pay respect to the great leader.

Social and political organisations organised various programmes to pay tributes to Dr Ambedkar.
