Kerala govt gifts flat to musician

Kozhikode, Apr 14 (UNI) Renowned Hindustani musician Saratchandra Marathe was gifted with a flat by the Kerala Government at a function here today.

Forest and Housing Minister Benoy Viswom handed over the key of the flat, built by the Kerala State Housing Board in the Medical College Housing Colony here, to the musician.

The ailing musician and his wife, who had been living in an old tile-roofed rented house till now, were given the right to live in the flat for the rest of their lives.
