India, Egypt trade talks to begin on Apr 15

New Delhi, Apr 14: India and Egypt will discuss the possibility of cooperation in the textiles, home furnishing, automotive, shipping, leather and mining sector during the India-Egyptian bilateral trade talks being held tomorrow.

The Indian side will be headed by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath and the Egyptian delegation is being led by its Minister of Trade and Industry Rachid Mohamed Rachid, according to an official release here.

The high-level Egyptian side is accompanied by a 35-member business delegation comprising mostly CEOs or CMDs of Egyptian companies with a keen desire to forge long-term alliance with their Indian counterparts.
