Unification through reconciliation: NSCN-IM
Kohima, Apr 13 (UNI) The proscribed National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) has said unity among the Naga groups is a common responsibility of all but the move should be through a legitimate process.
Before leaving for New Delhi for next round of talks with the Centre, faction's secretary general Th Muivah told mediapersons at Dimapur Airport yesterday that the outfit was ready to extend its support if the unity involves true reconciliation and forgiveness.
''Unification can only come about through the reconciliation and not through slogans,'' he asserted.
He also said NSCN-IM was not averse to the initiative of the Forum of Naga Reconciliation (FNR) led by Wati Aier adding that if it is thorough reconciliation, the NSCN-IM would stand by that.
Another NSCN-IM leader Rh Rhaising said they would be holding talks with the Centre and would raise the issues on the ongoing peace process and situation in the state.
