Seven bombs recovered near Gede
Krishnagore, Apr 13 (UNI) A day before the historical journey of Maitree Express from Kolkata to Dhaka, the Ranaghat GRPF today recovered a sack containing bombs near Gede, bordering Bangladesh.
Ranaghat GRPF inspector in-charge Amitabh Ghosal told UNI here that about seven bombs were recovered from inside the sack, that was lying abandoned near Bankim Nagar railway station on Gede line.
''All the bombs were found to be handmade and investigation was on,'' Mr Ghosal said.
The Maitree Express will cross Gede before entering Bangladesh.
