Cabinet expansion 'balanced' one: Nitish
Patna, Apr 13 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today termed the cabinet reshuffle ''balanced'' and hoped the new ministers would perform well.
Soon after the oath taking ceremony at Raj Bhavan, Mr Kumar said all aspects had been taken into consideration in the expansion.
He said all section of the society had been given due representation in the cabinet expansion.
Mr Kumar said while finalising the list, regional representation and social balance were considered in detail. The new ministers would cooperate in good governance, he said, adding that everyone should get the opportunity to work in rotational order.
Responding to the dropping of ten ministers from the cabinet, he said they had been relieved of the government's responsibility and would now cooperate in the party activities. He said their contributions would be significant in strengthening the organisation.
