Armed dacoits kill a girl, loot properties worth Rs 10 lakh

Siwan, Apr 13 (UNI) A gang of armed dacoits murdered a girl and looted properties worth Rs ten lakh at Madhavpur village under Siswan police station in the district.

Superintendent of Police Umesh Kumar said here today that the dacoits attacked the house of one Sudama Shah in the village and looted properties worth Rs ten lakh late last night.

A girl Rakhi (16) was also killed by the dacoits on the spot.

The SP said all the exit routes were sealed and raids were on to nab the dacoits.

Meanwhile, the officer incharge of the concerned police station was suspended following the incident.
