Two Al-badr militants held in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 12 (UNI) Two militants of Al-Badr outfit were arrested in the down town city last evening, official sources said.

This is for the first time that security forces have arrested two militants in the down town during the past one year.

They said a naka party of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jammu and Kashmir police conducted a search operation at Zaina Kadal in the down town.

During the operation, two Al-Badr militants, identified as Mohammad Younis Bhat and Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat, were arrested.

One Pistol, two Pistol magazines, 13 Pistol rounds, 10 AK rounds, one Hand grenade, two SIM cards and some indiscriminating documents were recovered from their possession.
