Tension between Bodos and Opposition leads to 25 deaths so far

Kokrajhar, Apr 12 (UNI) Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was today forced to reschedule his trip, when armed miscreants compelled the delegates to abandon the Bodo Sahitya Sabha, the apex literary organisation of the Bodos.

The intra fight between the ruling Bodos and the Opposition came to the fore in the literary organisation last night, when armed miscreants asked the delegates to leave the camp.

Their demand was to install their candidate as the new president of the session and it was alleged that the ruling faction was responsible for last night's vandalism.

The tension between the two factions has led to the death of more than 25 people in the past one month.
