Former minister Diwakar Vikram Singh dies
Basti, Apr 12 (UNI) Former Uttar Pradesh minister Diwakar Vikram Singh died of cardiac arrest here today.
He was 70.
Singh was admitted to a hospital after he fainted following a heart attack at his ancestral residence in Athdama village. He later died during treatment in the hospital, official sources said.
Singh popularly known as Bacha Sahab Athmada, was thrice elected as MLA from Khesraha assembly seat.
He was minister during Mulayam Singh and Kalyan Singh regime in the state.
