Techie commits suicide in Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, Apr 11: A software engineer, working for IT major Infosys in Bangalore, allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a tank in Ongole town in Prakasm district today.

Police said local people informed them that a body was found floating in a water tank on the outskirts of Ongole. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

The victim was identified as Arvind Bhattacharjee (32), who was working as an analyst in Infosys and hailed from West Bengal.

The relatives of Bhattacharjee came to Ongole to take his body.

They informed the police that the IT professional the called them yesterday and said he was going to commit suicide.
