Sugar mill DGM shot dead in UP

Lucknow, Apr 11 (UNI) Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Bajaj Hindustan Sugar mill was shot dead by gunmen miscrea in Saroorpur area of Meerut district today.

Siddharth Upadhyay, DGM of the Kinoni located sugar mill, was shot at in his office. He succumbed later in hospital, police said.

Meanwhile, police suspected the hand of history sheeter Udham Singh into the crime, as his gang was active in the area.

Udham was facing charges in 54 cases of heinous crimes and was carrying a bounty of Rs 20,000 on his head.

Investigation was on.
