REC sees PBT at Rs 1,300cr for FY08
New Delhi, Apr 11 (UNI) Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd today said the provisional financial highlights for the year 2007-08 showed it profit before tax (PBT) increase by 29.22 per cent for to Rs 1,300 crore as against Rs 1,006 crore last year.
Its loan sanctions increased 84.55 per cent to Rs 60,764 crore for FY08 as against Rs 32,925 crore a year ago.
Loan disbursement increased 18.72 per cent to Rs 16,303 crore during 2007-08 as against Rs 13,732 crore a year earlier, said a statement.
REC got listed at Rs 125, a premium of 19 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange on March 12.
