One killed, eight injured
Dindigul, Apr 11 (UNI) One person was killed on the spot and eight others were critically injured when a State Transport Corporation bus in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Vadamadurai here today.
Police sources said the town bus was on its way to Ayyalur village from Didigul while the lorry was coming in the opposite direction, when the mishap occurred.
The deceased was identified as Pandiyarajan of Keeranur village in Pudukkottai district.
The injured were admitted to government hospital here, police added.
