NDTV Good Times launches three new shows
Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) NDTV Good Times, India's first lifestyle channel, here today launched two new shows 'Limited Edition' and 'Free Fall' and new the season of three existing shows, 'Lounge', 'Highway on my Plate' and 'In High Spirits'.
Speaking on the occasion, NDTV CEO Smeeta Chakrabarti said, ''Through this channel, we have tried to bring changes in the lifestyle and television viewing. And we have made it to a certain level.'' 'Limited Edition', which will be aired on Sunday at 2100 hrs, is being presented by actress Perizaad Zorabian. The show focuses on luxury living.
Meanwhile, 'Free Fall' tries to take the viewers to the height of adventurous life. This travel show anchored by Neha Dixit, will be aired every Monday at 2200 hrs April 21 onwards.
'Lounge', in which actor-producer Rajat Kapoor will discuss sensitive topics close to everyone's heart and life, will be aired from Friday to Sunday at 2300 hrs.
'Highway on my plate', that will hit the television screen in its third season, will be anchored by Rocky and Mayur, who set off negotiating the winding roads of the Himalayas in the cool crisp air and then on the baking tarmac of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala in search of local delicacies. It will be aired every Tuesday at 2200 hrs.
In the second season of 'In High Spirits' that is to telecast every Tuesday at 2100 hrs, Shatbhi Basu, India's first woman bartender, spikes drinks to get a global mix. She travels to the world's most happening bars and pubs.
Channel Head Shinani Sharma Khanna, Perizaad Zorabian and Rajat Kapoor were present at the launch function.
