Govt to find solutions for traffic congestions: CM
Puducherry, Apr 11 (UNI) The Puducherry administration was taking steps to find a solution to the traffic congestions here, Chief Minister N Rangasamy told the legislative assembly today.
Replying to a question Mr Rangasamy said an expert committee would be constituted to set up by-passes without spoiling the beauty of Puducherry. Steps were taken to widen roads and construction of over-bridges to prevent traffic congestion.
To another question, Education Minister M O H F Shajahan said the administration would steps to improve the standard of primary education here.
When the minister replied that the standard of primary education was satisfactory here, PMC member K Lakshminarayanan, who posed the question, pointed out that as per the annual states education standard report for standard one to five in Puducherry is below national average.
