Fish farming needs better management: Razi
Ranchi, Apr 11 (UNI) Jharkhand governor Syed Sibtey Razi today said country's fish farming could be enhanced through better management of water resources.
Addressing a national seminar on fishery at Birsa Agricultural University here, Mr Razi said that at present country's production is 20 quintals per hectare and it could be increased to five times by managing the available water resources.
''The producers should also adopt technical methods to get maximum output from the available water reservior spreaded in about 3.15 milllion hectares area'', Mr Razi said.
''People should also know to use rain water'' Mr Razi stressed.
