BJP to petition EC on Governor's 'code violation'
Chitradurga, Apr 11 (UNI) BJP Chief Ministerial 'designate' B S Yeddyurappa today said that his party would file a complaint with the Election Commission against Karnataka Governor Rameshwar for violation of election code.
Speaking to reporters during his visit to the district to kick start election campaign, he alleged that Mr Thakur had released Rs 2000 crore for various projects and this amounted to breach of the election code.
Besides he had effected a huge number of transfers of officials and this was done with a vested interest and to help a particular party, he alleged.
