BJP to file complaint against Governor
Bangalore, Apr 11 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Karnataka today said it will file a complaint with the Election Commission against Governor Rameshwar Thakur for violating the code of conduct of elections in the state.
Party's Election Campaign Committee Chief Manohar Maski told mediapersons here that the complaint would be filed against the Governor for taking up new progammes and schemes, and for transferring a large number of officers when the code of conduct was in force in the state.
The Governor had cleared several works with necessary funds in the last one week despite the announcement of the elections to the Assembly to be held in May, he added.
