14 MLAs nominated to MCD ahead of Mayor poll

New Delhi, Apr 11 (UNI) Delhi Assembly Speaker Ch Prem Singh today nominated 14 legislators to the Muncipal Corporation, in the run-up to the Mayor's elections.

The members will be eligible to participate in the voting process, a spokesperson said.

While declaring the names, Mr Singh expressed the hope that the nominated members would be able to streamline the functioning of the Corportation and make it more effective and responsive.

The nominated members include Dr Harshvardhan, Puran Chand Yogi, Subhash Sachdeva, Balram Tanwar, Tajadar Babber, Veer Singh Dhingan Nasib Singh, Ramakant Goswami and Dayanand Chandila.
