Select cotton varieties rise
Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) Prices of select cotton varieties like Karnataka Jayadhar, Bunny Brahma and MCU-5 advanced today on heavy purchase by spinners and exporters in the face of lesser stock supply from producing centres like Karnataka, Gujarat and northern regions, traders at the East India Cotton Association said.
Cotton varities like Karnataka Jayadhar rose by Rs 100 per candy. Bunny Brahma and MCU-5 also shot up by Rs 200 and Rs 300 per candy.
