Scribes observe peaceful demonstration in disappearance case
Pratapgarh, Apr 10 (UNI) Journalists here today took out a silent procession and handed over a memorandum to chief revenue officer regarding the disappearance of Danik Jagran correspondent Shyamendra Kushwaha in Allahabad.
The scribes tied black cloth on their arms and staged a peaceful demonstration.
They also wrote a memorandum to Chief Minister Mayawati and handed over the same to chief revenue officer U S Upadhyay.
Many senior journalists participated in the procession.
Shyamendra Kushwaha, a resident of Purana Katra, left his office after getting a call on his mobile last Saturday night.
Since then he was missing.
A case of kidnapping was registered against unidentified people.
